My Students

Do you remember the trouble of trying to read a math textbook and understand the concepts? I do! Interactive Notebooks are a great, research-based way for students to engage with content.

My students are like any other young adults.

They want to do well, they want to look good in front of their peers, they want to succeed, and they want to be confident. Interactive Notebooks give students the tools and access to curriculum to help make them confident and successful mathematicians. I encourage my students to take risks and be brave every day that they enter my classroom; Interactive Notebooks play an integral role in their success.

My Project

My students need scotch tape, highlighters, and colored paper for their interactive math notebooks. Students create their personal Interactive Math Notebook throughout the school year. It becomes something of great pride; most students keep their Interactive Notebook for many years. While many students are able to provide their own tape and highlighters, others are not financially able to do so. Your donation and these resources will help provide the necessary supplies to those students. They will not have to feel insecure or self conscious about lacking supplies. This will dramatically improve their confidence level, outlook in math class, learning, and overall success.

Your donation will help make Interactive Notebooks a reality for students that would otherwise be left out.

Our classroom learning activities revolve around these notebooks and we use them almost daily. Thank you, in advance, for making math interactive for all students.
