Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am following my students to 4th grade next year. Traditionally, we spend the first week of school getting to know our students and teaching them our classroom expectations. Since I will have the same group of students, this won’t be necessary.

I would love to spend the first week of school setting goals by making bracelets with our “words of the year” and painting motivational rocks.

The bracelets would serve as daily reminders to be the best version of ourselves. The rocks will help build a sense of community as we take on the roll of leaders in the school.
