Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are eager learners who thrive on visual aids and hands-on projects. To support their understanding of government concepts and foster their creativity in our after-school DIY Club, I am seeking funding for government anchor charts and DIY materials such as canvases and totes for decorating.

Government anchor charts will serve as essential visual tools in our classroom, helping students grasp key topics such as branches of government, checks and balances, and civic responsibilities.

These charts will provide a reference point for discussions, reinforcing their learning in an engaging and accessible way. By having these resources readily available, students will develop a deeper understanding of how government functions and how they can be active citizens in their communities.

Additionally, our DIY Club offers students a creative outlet where they can express themselves while developing practical skills. With canvases and totes, students will have the opportunity to design and personalize their own projects, fostering a sense of pride and ownership over their work. These activities will encourage teamwork, artistic expression, and problem-solving, all while providing a fun and productive way to spend their after-school hours.

Your support will empower my students by enhancing their learning environment and giving them meaningful, hands-on experiences. With these materials, they will not only strengthen their academic knowledge but also build confidence and creativity that will benefit them beyond the classroom.
