My Project

I teach middle school art in a diverse and creative classroom where students are eager to learn and express themselves through art. However, many of my students have limited access to high-quality art resources outside of school. I want to provide them with engaging, relevant, and visually stimulating materials that connect them to art history, contemporary artists, and career pathways in the arts.

Scholastic Art Magazines are a fantastic resource that introduces students to famous artists, emerging trends, and interactive art activities.

Each issue includes in-depth artist features, art history connections, and step-by-step art projects. These magazines will serve as a valuable classroom resource for lessons, discussions, and independent exploration. Having a full-year subscription will allow my students to stay engaged with new and exciting content throughout the school year.

By funding this project, you will provide my students with access to high-quality art education materials that will inspire them to think critically, create boldly, and explore future careers in the arts. These magazines will foster visual literacy, critical thinking, and artistic expression, helping my students grow as artists and creative thinkers.
