My Project

Representation is SO IMPORTANT! My students and I are very enthusiastic about STEM. We learn about science, technology

and engineering using art and math concepts, too.

Our creations are inspired by stories of great people in STEM. I want to broaden the representation of historical figures for my students.

In my class, students take the beginning steps to learn the engineering design cycle and coding concepts. We work in teams to complete challenges, collaborating, designing, building and testing our ideas. We use block coding to learn how we can build our world in the future.

I hope to inspire our youngest students with these true stories of women in STEM.
