Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Give this project a boost!
A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
Our transitional kindergarteners learn best through interactive games and materials that encourage them to explore materials and be creative! Creative expression through art materials encourages language and social-emotional learning as they work with classmates to create. Open-ended art experiences encourage children to focus on the process and not on a specific product.
Hands-on language resources such as the giant magnetic letters and the materials in the alphabet sound teaching tubs will support language acquisition and kindergarten preparedness.
Hands-on language materials that students can interact with will support language development and support them in kindergarten readiness.
In addition, we love to create in our open-ended art area! Encouraging art daily with the paint and construction paper will encourage language development and self-expression.
