This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
My students would be able to use these items to practice growing plants and explore the science behind it. I would like for my students to understand that there are many careers that could arise from tasks that they have never thought of. These careers could include soil testing and even tree marking or measuring.
These labs and experiments will be completed in their Chemistry class and students will be able to explore the properties of elements on the periodic table and how they affect plant growth.
My students are optimistic and they yearn to learn as much as they can to be successful.
