Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This past school year, with the help of many donors, we created our classroom library and expanded it throughout the school year. The books helped create a class that became heavily interested in reading and the authors who wrote these books!

The students have become voracious readers and have absolutely read every single book we were able to purchase for them last year.

That was because of the generous donations from last year's book drive!

Not only did they become voracious readers but they also had the highest English state exam scores! In an unprecedented time, these students excelled!
