Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a passionate first-year teacher preparing to welcome my inaugural cohort of students! This project contains books that have significantly shaped my teaching philosophy and fueled my passion for social-emotional learning through literature.

I hope that by sharing these readings with my students, they will be inspired to explore empathy, cooperation, and understand diverse perspectives.

Through engaging discussions and activities inspired by these books, my goal is to empower students to develop strong social-emotional skills that will serve them both inside and outside the classroom. With your support, books such as ''I Am Enough'', ''The Jory John Collection'', and ''Grow Grateful'', etc. will enrich the read-aloud experience for my students.
