Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come from a diverse community in Queens, NY. They come from a huge variety of economic, religious, and cultural backgrounds. We have many ENL students who are new English-language speakers and learners. Over 80% of our students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch.

Our school works hand-in-hand with the community to ensure the highest quality education for all students who attend here.

We have a focus on service learning and global conservation, where the students and staff take part in fundraising and creating awareness about issues within the community and around the world. We make global partnerships and teach important citizenship values to our students through these worldwide connections.

My Project

These materials will be perfect for our graduation ceremony, as we are giving our students hydro-flasks as an end-of-year gift. We would like to give the students the opportunity to select multiple stickers to decorate their bottles with.

This will allow our students to express themselves through their stickers and allow their amazing personalities to shine through.

The candy will also be added to the bottles for an added fun-factor. Our students love expressing their true selves and we can't wait for them to personalize their bottles with these amazing stickers.
