Inspiring New Writers with Lined Whiteboards!

Help me give my students Double Sided Dry Erase Boards and colorful dry erase markers to spark their excitement for writing! The lined sides are PERFECT for new kindergarteners learning to write letters and numbers!

My Project

In our Kindergarten Class Family, we use whiteboards almost daily. There is a "well-loved", single-sided set which is worn-out and just doesn't erase well anymore. I am requesting a new set of boards with penmanship lines on one side and blank space on the other.

The lined side will be invaluable to our handwriting and writing lessons while math pictures and equations may be recorded on the blank side.

Young students are excited when using whiteboards because they enjoy the use of special markers and the ease of erasing. I appreciate the engagement and immediate feedback when students hold up their boards up to display answers. Whiteboards also minimize the use of paper, which is an important way to decrease our environmental footprint. I have seen how whiteboards can engage students successfully!
