My Students

We are a 3K class in Queens, NY, a borough of New York City. A gem of a community, full of diversity and hard-working families with dreams of their children attaining the American dream of a college education and beyond. We are the littlest learners of the NYC school system. Our little minds are sponges. We come to school with curiosity and a great potential to become lifelong learners.

When I look into their eyes, I wonder to myself... Am I seeing a future Kamala Harris or Lin Manuel Miranda or Sundar Pichai?

Or more importantly essential workers to ensure the survival of humanity.

My Project

The COVID 19 pandemic has wiped out NYC public school budgets for basic school supplies. These necessary supplies will help my 3K students learn, think, and create in a blended learning environment. These supplies will be used not only in the classroom but also in the students' home environment, where these supplies may be the only tools to complete their assignments.

These supplies will be used to strengthen fundamental skills necessary for our students to become life long learners.

With these supplies, students will be able to master fine motor skills which leads to shoe tying and handwriting skills. They will unlock their imagination and create enduring art worthy of any refrigerator door. They will also master counting and basic math skills.

By funding this project, you have contributed to a 3K student's educational foundation.
