Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year I am focusing on helping my English Language Learners (most students in my class) and other students develop literacy and life-long love of reading in a more flexible and collaborative setting.

I would like to have a quiet reading corner where students can sit with their reading buddies on comfy cushions, listen to the stories read aloud on their laptops, and then work with partners on completing story plot graphic organizers on dry erase surfaces (i.e.

dry erase boards, sheet protectors).
