My Project

My students are 3rd graders who I want to inspire to love reading! I want my students to come to class enthusiastic about reading and curious about ALL subject matters, no matter if fiction, non-fiction, poetry or plays. They have various different backgrounds, but they all share two things in common: 1) They love learning and 2)I believe in them. All of my students don’t have access to fiction or nonfiction books outside of our classroom so I want our classroom to be a place where they can immerse themselves in a variety of fiction an nonfiction books. I also want my students to be able to see themselves in our read alouds and make valuable connections to what we are learning.
