Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are the youngest at the school, and so excited to be here. They love to have new experiences, discover new things and use their imaginations!

I have thirty 3 and 4 year old students who are energetic and thirsty for learning!

We are in our second year as a pre-kinder threes program at the school. I have had a year to evaluate the program, and see what we need to fuel the student's thirst for knowledge. They are always grateful and interested in new activities.

My Project

The activities that I am requesting will help my students grow as 21st century learners. The books will be used as read-alouds, and then placed in the classroom library to help promote the print rich environment I am creating in the classroom. Students will be able to build a strong early literacy foundation.

The center activities provided will enhance my students literacy skills, as well as their STEM and logical reasoning skills.

The students are so creative and love to build. We have used different mediums for building materials, including plastic cups. Please help me to help my students flourish.
