Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At our school, we are a diverse community with various abilities, cultural and familial backgrounds. I’m seeking to post, around my school (inside and outside), banners, posters, signs, reflecting inspirational sayings, positive self-esteem, encouragement, kindness to yourself and others, etc. in English and Spanish.

Each person has a brain that thinks and a heart that feels.

The location of our school provides an opportunity to reach not only our students and families with the messages of hope, love, kindness, but pedestrians walking by our school and people driving in the neighborhood and on/off a major highway.

My hope is the community (children and adults) sees the pictures, reads, or attempts to read the words and they feel good about themselves. They feel valued, empowered, loved, inspired, hopeful, and so much more.
