Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are in the year of transition. This will be their last year in elementary school. I cannot wait to see what is in store for this school year. The children have been together since kindergarten at my school so it has been nice and to see them grow as individuals.

My hope is that my students will learn as much as they can and are willing to share ideas with one another.

My school has 80% of students receiving free or reduced price lunch. We are established in a Spanish speaking community.

My Project

Rainy days in South Florida are all too common. During these rain storms my class is unable to venture outside and participate in their scheduled P.E. class or recess. When this happens it is important for the class to be active inside.

Physical development is just as important to teach our students as is mental development.

Because of this it is necessary for me to have items in the class that promote practicing balance and reading. While the presentation remote will allow for movement around the room while presenting projects and every class needs a sharpener to sharpen our pencils as we sharpen our minds.
