Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My class is filled with multilingual third-graders who learn through inquiry and interdisciplinary instruction in both languages, English and Spanish. Students will soon start a new literacy unit to expand their knowledge about artists and the artistic process in different media, including poetry, music, and painting.

This project would help me provide bilingual books for students to read about painters, singers and poets from different parts of the world.

Your support will also provide a social-emotional learning Art Therapy Bundle to enrich our morning meetings with the arts while learning about compassion. Lastly, the laminating pouches will help me keep an organized classroom environment that includes multilingual labels to support students' language acquisition.
