Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My 6th grade students inspire me. They are creative, thoughtful and the sky's the limit for their imagination! They absolutely love learning to code, creating animations, & dialogue in projects as unique and varied as the languages, cultures they represent. Students think outside the box to find solutions to the daily challenges we face, and each day they join class online and try their best. They bravely take chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Together we hack and innovate as we learn computer science. Truly, they are my inspiration!

My Project

Both blended learning students and remote from home students will benefit from the use of keyboards. Using a tablet can be frustrating when half your screen disappears every time the keyboard pops up taking over your little screen. Typing code and dialogue are challenging enough without the added struggle of a popup keyboard.

Bluetooth keyboards will allow students to continue focusing on their screen as they respond, create, and imagine while designing projects with code.

Keyboards will streamline the creative process, allowing students to focus on their design instead of struggling with access to only half their screen.
