My Project

Our first grade class is full of eager, curious minds, and we're excited to introduce a project that will foster creativity and develop important skills for our students—Magna-Tiles! We're reaching out to you to help fund this incredible tool for our classroom through DonorsChoose.

Magna-Tiles are more than just fun; they’re STEAM-approved, meaning they integrate science, technology, engineering, arts, and math learning in a way that engages young learners.

These colorful magnetic tiles help our students develop key skills that will serve them throughout their academic journey.

Here’s why Magna-Tiles are such a valuable addition to our classroom:

Promotes Math & Science Understanding: By building with Magna-Tiles, our students will grasp essential math concepts like shapes, symmetry, and patterns. They'll also explore scientific principles like balance, force, and structure—all while having fun!

Enhances Spatial & Tactile Skills: As children connect the tiles in different ways, they will strengthen their spatial awareness, fine motor skills, and hand-eye coordination. The tactile experience of building with these tiles helps them better understand geometric concepts and improve problem-solving abilities.

Hours of Creative Play: Magna-Tiles offer endless possibilities for building and creating. Our students can use them to construct everything from simple structures to more complex designs, encouraging their creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking skills. The hands-on nature of Magna-Tiles means students will be engaged for hours!
