My Students

My students remind me why I teach! The love I feel everyday when they greet me always warms my heart and makes me want to be a better teacher for them. During PE class I get to enjoy the squeals, smiles and constant giggles of my kids. Do you remember the parachute and playing popcorn? Do you remember playing Uno Relay or head, shoulder, knees, toes cone? They do and my kids will tell you all about it! I love the fact that my students want to be physically fit!

My Project

Yoga will provide my students with physical skills that will enhance their flexibility, strength, coordination, and body awareness. In addition, their concentration and sense of calmness and relaxation improves. Showing and demonstrating the different yoga movements will allow my students to learn how to focus and remain calm throughout the day. If a student has a bad day, I’m hoping they will channel their inner self and reflect and use the breathing techniques to think before they speak. Yoga is a great way to stay balanced and healthy. It promotes using your inner self to promote your outer strength. Namaste.
