My Students

We are an arts focused 4-8 school in southern California. Our staff is dedicated and inspired to integrate performing, visual, and culinary arts into our academic curriculum. We also have a focus on giving back to the community and environment.

We manifest a culture of acceptance and diversity.

Students, staff and community work together to ensure the students who leave our classrooms are productive, responsible, civic minded citizens, with not only a vision to make the world a better place but the skills to deliver.

My Project

Students with special needs often have difficulty stabilizing their emotions. Research indicates students who are explicitly taught strategies to self soothe and self regulate are more successful in all aspects of life.

Yoga increases academic success by eliminating the need for students to remove themselves from an environment to de-stress.

These mats will help students learn strategies that they can take with them to handle frustrations in all environments. Additionally practicing cross-body exercises increases and establishes neural pathways that will help students find success.

Your donation will help students with special needs learn critical skills to self manage behavior and decrease frustration.
