My Students

Can you recall when your own laptop just wouldn't work and how impatient you became? Now just imagine how impatient 24 young students can become. Now imagine the teacher trying to plead with the computer as well with 24 thirsty minds craving knowledge.

My students are my inspiration.

Every year I am impressed with the promise and excitement that my students show. Some people might call my students "at risk",but they are still just children with nothing but HOPE and promise no matter where they go to school. Such resolve and dedication is exemplified by my students to want to be an active learner admits the sirens from police cars and other emergency vehicles, and occasional school lock-downs.

My Project

The laptop and speakers will assist me in engaging my students with visual as well as audio tools. I will be able to run programs a lot smoother and efficiently so there is not a lot of wasted classroom time. At this point every minute counts. The flash drive will help in the documentation of the progress my students make.

Please help me give my kindergarten students a new perspective on learning and show them that even though they are in an inner city school, there are people still willing to help them.
