My Students

My students come from diverse backgrounds where many homes do not have English as their spoken language. But that does not stop them from achieving all of their goals in my classroom!

All students learn differently.

One way that has shown great success is working collaboratively with peers. It is amazing what I see my students create when working with their classmates.

Projects are conducted regularly. My students often take a project guideline and alter it with their own unique ideas. This is when the most learning takes place for all of my students.

My Project

Very often teachers could use one extra copy for the new student who just arrived, or another copy of a particular language for the student who struggles with the English language. What many people don't realize is that a copy is not easily accessible. In many school copies of materials must be put in weeks in advance. Unfortunately when that new student arrives or the few students who are struggling to understand, the copy machine runs out of ink. With the backup toner cartridges our class will never run out of ink for the copies that they need to succeed!
