My Students

I teach at a Title I School in East Texas. We are a small community school and we are limited on materials. However, our school serves a free breakfast every morning to ensure that all students receive the nutrition they need to start the day.

I want my students to have all the materials they need to better their education.

I am a 2nd-grade teacher. My classroom consists of a wide variety of diverse students that come from small towns. They are a bright group of kids who are eager to learn and I want them to be able to walk into my classroom and feel excited about what is in store for them that day. Because they are from a small town, they feel the need to challenge themselves to the max to show their full potential. This is something we encourage at BES because we know that our students are capable of accomplishing anything they set their minds too.

My Project

Here in 2C we are constantly using our classroom printer. Having a functioning printer in class allows us to create centers for our Daily 5 rotations as well as enhance students learning when we complete group projects.

In order to successfully implement our classroom printer in our every day learning activities, we must have black and colored ink and lots of it.

Having the ability to print and make copies in my classroom saves me a lot of time. In doing so, it will allow me to focus more of my energy on keeping my students engaged throughout the day. It would make a huge difference in the flow of our schedule and rotations. I want my students to have the most positive learning experience so they will be able to strive and succeed.
