My Students

"A grape bunch!" What a fitting description of my students! Having taught them this last year in the fourth grade, I am delighted to have them back again for their final year in elementary school. My students are defined by the effort they give each and every day.

This past year they have shown their willingness and determination to overcome challenges borne of their disabilities, to achieve wonderful academic success.

I could not be prouder of their results.

One of the things that is most admirable about my students is their generosity, their willingness to share and help one another. I have seen them carrying one another's bags, sharing their lunches, encouraging one another when the work gets more intense and engaging in great peer activities. Their passion for learning positively impacts mine for teaching. Nothing makes me happier than to see my "grape bunch" enthusiastic about learning.

My Project

My class relies on our computers to get work done. We are constantly in need of ink and toner for all our printing needs. Besides the fact that I need to present daily homework, my class is constantly working on projects, class assignments and other activities that require them to print constantly. How awful it is to complete your typing then to be told, "you can't print" because there is no toner or ink in the printer!

Today's classroom should never run out of toner or ink, don't you think?

Please help me to get these much needed supplies of ink for my class. I can't rely on the school to provide them because there are so many requests sometimes it takes weeks to get yours fulfilled. Many thanks for your help!
