Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I literally have THE BEST STUDENTS any teacher can ask her. I have 18 students who all have very different unique personalities, 10 girls and 8 boys. Being at work is my happy place, we have lots of fun together doing hands on activities, learning, and playing together in centers. My students love coming to school and look forward to an amazing and fun day. In my classroom, I always try to making learning fun and I always try to connect it to my students prior knowledge and experiences.

My Project

The materials that I am requesting donations for are indoor gym and sensory materials. I will use the materials to create an indoor area for my Pre-K & 3K students. This is an indoor area that the students will be able to go to when the weather isn't great outside and an area where they can build their fine and gross motor skills. The indoor gym will have an indoor jungle gym, sensory tables, bicycles, tunnels, soft play objects, indoor climbing materials, and a few other objects that the students would enjoy using.
