My Students

Hello! I teach in a K-2 school with approximately 1,000 students. Our school has a diverse population of students. My students are smart, enthusiastic, creative, hardworking, eager, and respectful. My classroom consists of students from all different backgrounds. I have high functioning students, low functioning students, and ELL students. My school offers reading and math interventions to aid struggling learners in their educational success.

I am dedicated to my students.

It is my goal to provide an inviting, nurturing, and warm classroom where each student feels comfortable.

Our school does not receive Title I funding. Thus, the technology and resources in my classroom are limited. Most of my resources are supplied by either myself or through parent donations. The environment provided by the administration, teachers, and staff is inviting and nurturing. We are dedicated to meeting the needs of each student that walks through the doors.

My Project

Sometimes the weather outside just doesn't cooperate. When the temperature is too hot, too cold, or if it has been raining all day, we are stuck inside for recess! After this happens several times, the same indoor recess activities become boring. I want to make indoor recess more exciting.

Help me give my students activities that are engaging, fun, and new!

I am requesting a magnetic building block set and drawing stencils. These materials will allow students to work in small groups to create and design whatever they want. Sometimes school is so structured. Students love opportunities to be creative. These materials will be the perfect addition to our "indoor recess tub."
