My Students

As a New York City public school teacher, I love welcoming my students into the classroom, as they arrive excited to learn. This diverse group of students bring me joy each day - as they work and persevere through challenges, and do so with enthusiasm.

My Project

Students love outdoor recess, as they get to run and play with their friends outdoors. But sometimes the students have to remain in the auditorium for indoor recess due to the winter weather in New York City. Students complain they get bored watching movies indoors and they want something fun to do. Having a goody bag filled with entertaining supplies will help students amuse themselves during indoor recess time.

Students will receive individual goody bags filled with entertaining independent activities for recess- from fidget spinners, origami paper, sketch books, and coloring mandalas.
