My Project
We are building an indoor garden!
The students in my school do not have the opportunity to plant or garden at home as most of them do not access to outdoor space.
At one time our school had an outdoor garden. It has been destroyed by construction and scaffolding that has been up for years.
Many of my students live in the local shelter, but that doesn’t stop them from doing their best. I am continually impressed by the work ethic held by most of my students.
In one class we can have as many as four or five different languages spoken. Gardening is a universal language. I want to give my students the opportunity to work together despite language barriers.
Please help me give my students a healthy and memorable experience.
