My Project

Our classroom has neither natural light nor water, but we can still grow plants! As my students continue to learn about the technology that will drive our futures, it is important that they also learn about the many ways to grow food. Through both research and trial-and-error, students will be responsible for keeping their seedlings alive and providing necessary adjustments to ensure our vegetables grow the best they can inside our classroom.

With these indoor growing materials, my students will learn about the ingredients of healthy soil, as well as learning how to plant seeds, how to keep them warm and wet, and how to provide enough light and circulation to keep them photosynthesizing and growing.

This learning continues our exploration of current and future technology meant to improve our lives and give students opportunities to contribute to our communities in healthy ways.
