Help Mrs. S.

I teach 3,4,5, and 6 grade science, to inner city students. We do not have a lot of extra money or classroom resources to always do hands on projects. We try to give our students as many real life experiences as possible.

We have very little supplies. My students love hands on learning experiences. They excel when they get these types of opportunities. If we do not get the funding, we may not be able to have hands on activities to enhance our learning experiences.

The resources I need are the basics for growing plants, potting soil, flower pots, and seeds. The students will benefit from this by being able to experience how to grow and take care of plants that they can later eat. They will also take that knowledge and teach other classes and their own families, how to grow a garden.

Your help will ensure that my students get the most out of their learning experience. They thrive when they get the opportunity to do things first hand.
