Headphones in the classroom will give my special education students the ability to work at their own pace while using their laptops. Students will be able to listen to their individual program/ assignment, then play it back as necessary without distractions.
Students engagement will improve as they work through their assignments individually without being easily distracted by their classmates.
When engagement increases so does learning. I want my students to enjoy learning without the distractions of other students. Headphones in the classroom will help meet this need for my students.
