My Students

My students have learned from home since March 16. As of right now, we are not certain if we are going back in person this upcoming year or not. We want to prepare them for success whether we continue virtual instruction or go back to in-person instruction.

My students come from a city that has been considered one of the most dangerous cities in America.

Despite that, they are creating their own path to a successful future. It amazes me to see how fully engaged they are to learn each and every day. I feel privileged to teach such a great group of kids.

My Project

How the school year will be set up is unknown to all of us right now. What we do know is if our students are expected to come to school to learn they will not be allowed to share materials. This includes the pencil sharpener. My students are in kindergarten and they will need their own supplies.

My students will need to have a sharpened pencil whether they are at school or at home.

This pencil sharpener will stay with the student both at home and at school. This way I can make sure my students are prepared to learn no matter where they are!
