Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Independent work stations are a necessity in our classroom. They are a part of their daily academic rotations, and designed to build their confidence and enjoyment in school. My students complete a variety of object based tasks, file folder tasks, and task card tasks independently. The boxes change 2-3 times a day, meaning that we have a lot of material to create and store in the classroom.

Having an organized and easily accessible system will increase student independence in this work station, and therefore boost their confidence.

I am asking for basic organizational supplies for the storage and creation of these task boxes.

The furniture will be used to store the components of the task box system. The file folder holders will be used to hold file folder task boxes. The scrapbook photo holders will be used to hold task cards. For each student, three tasks are selected for each subject and placed on their desk for the week.
