My Project

As a special education teacher, students come to my space to develop their skills in the areas of literacy and math. My goal is to provide engaging instruction that excites and inspires students to want to learn and grow.

Help me strengthen my students' zest for learning and overall independence by providing playful, hands-on ways to practice targeted math skills.

These math activities will give students the opportunity to collaborate with their peers in practicing math skills, as well as provide opportunities for independent practice. The large visual timer will help promote independence by teaching students to track and manage their time, which can be challenging for students with educational disabilities.

Our city school serves a historically marginalized community and has limited access to high-quality resources. These materials will help make my special education classroom a more accessible place that fosters growth and independence.
