My Students

My first graders come to school full of energy and ready to conquer the world. My job is to keep them motivated and to develop critical thinkers. Each child learns differently, and part of my job is to find out how to reach them. Some are visual learners, some are auditory learners, and some learn by hands-on activities.

We need to figure out how to reach all learners.

My students are sweet and eager to learn. They are motivated and want to be successful students. They just need the opportunity.

My Project

VersaTiles are a puzzle challenge with standards-aligned practice in reading. They help students develop key concepts for reading. They will help my students with fluency, phonemic awareness, vocabulary, phonics, comprehension and so much more in reading.

Each child in my room is different and learns at their own speed.

These materials will allow them to learn at their own pace in a fun and engaging way.

They will learn at their own pace. The ones that need more time will have it. The ones that need the challenge will also be able to use and learn at a quicker pace with these materials.
