Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach 6th grade students in an Integrated Co-Taught setting. I want to encourage my students to love to and want to read. I want to provide them with book that they are interested in while learning in a comfy, cozy environment.

My Project

These products will be helpful and useful for their independent reading time. We read independent daily and I want students to feel comfortable and confident while enjoying their books. There is a wide range of reading levels and I want all students to have what they need to succeed and do their best. I want those students who are easily discouraged by reading to want to read. During independent reading, it is a cozy time where students can choose where and how they read. The lights will help when the lights go dim.
