it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Do you remember the year you fell in love with reading? I think these books will turn my students into life long readers.
My students are amazing.
They have a passion that others dream about. They attend public school and have a limited budget for books and materials. Some of my students cannot leave their apartments to go to the library, and the schools library is a bit outdated.
My Project
I think this wide array of engaging books will get my students excited about reading and enable them opportunities to see the world through the written word. I will be able to send my students home with books that will be fun , interesting, and new. I know this will make them life-long independent readers.
I think any time you can put a book in a child's hand you are making a difference.
If we can make our students independent readers at a young age then we have done a service to the world.
