My Students

"What will we do today, Mrs. B?!" This question is asked through smiling faces quite frequently as the students walk into my room in the morning. My Pre-K students live in Greenpoint, Brooklyn in New York City! They are students of PS34 which is a Blue Ribbon, Title 1 school. They all come from many different backgrounds, which helps to bring different experiences to the classroom. They love to listen to stories, dance, create art and explore with various hands-on activities! They are eager to learn and explore EVERYDAY!

My Project

My students want to work independently to learn to write their names, and label pictures. They are now writing books and need a place to work quietly and feel independent. They need a new computer table that is at their height. The table we have is too high and old. They have a hard time maneuvering the mouse and the power button. We need new chairs for a new table because the chairs we have are also old and will not fit under a smaller table.

We will be so excited and appreciative of new furniture.

It will help our children to be active learners.
