My Students

We are a brand new school, with a brand new teacher. We are limited in the supplies we can purchase.

Our school is a brand new school this year.

My 2nd grade classroom is small, but we are anticipating large growth next year. Our school is a low-income school. Many of our students lack the resources that other children have. Our school's goal is to prepare our students for college.

My Project

In my classroom, we do a lot of independent work so I can differentiate my instruction. I have students across several academic levels. I sometimes do not have the resources to meet all my students' needs. The listening center is one of them. I do not have the finances to purchase one on my own, and our school does not have any. I want my students to be able to listen to different stories we are working on for the week during independent work time. With the listening center I am requesting, I can better serve my students and they will grow!
