This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Cleaning up after yourself is a basic responsibility every child should learn at an early age! Personal accountability: It emphasizes that you should be responsible for your own actions and mess. My scholars will learn how to safely use a handheld vacuum to clean up small materials that they can’t clean up by hand. This will show them accountability , responsibility and respect for their work ethics! Another important cleaning tool they will learn to use is using paper towels for their spills. I always tell my tiny scholars, “Spills happen, and that’s okay but we need to take action and clean them up!”. So my scholars, don’t just stand there and stare at a spill or mess when it occurs, they take action and use paper towels to clean up their messes! I am molding my scholars to become independent, respectful and be self-aware leaders (adults) for the future. It all starts from an early age!
