My Project

Please help me provide the supplies needed to produce incredible interactive notebooks. Interactive notebooks are a great way to keep student interest in science and social studies. Students enjoy showing their learning through hands-on activities.

Things like tape and bigger sharp scissors are not typical school supplies.

Many of my student's families are not able to supply basic items much less supplying more expensive items. Big kids need bigger scissors that actually cut instead of ripping and tearing paper like the ones the school distributed. Tape secures notebook activities better than glue. Colored pencils work best for coloring the activities because they don't bleed through the page and are capable of more detailed coloring than crayons. It is important to supply each child with their own coloring and cutting supplies so that students aren't impacted by others who don't take care of supplies. When you teach nearly 60 students a day individual student bins are necessary for keeping things organized.
