Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

After a year of virtual learning, we are finally back in the school building. My students consist of low-income black and Hispanic students who are excited to learn. This is their last year before middle school and we want it to be the most amazing wrap-up of their elementary careers.

My Project

The weather outside has been wild this winter. One day it is snowing, the next day it is thundering and raining. We've been stuck inside the classroom missing our outdoor play time. However, with the help of your donation, I know we can make it fun and enjoyable. Having access to these additional games and activities, the students will build their peer interactions, communication and language skills, creativity, strategic thinking and teamwork ability. We often only look at play time as recreational, but it also can be a time for learning as well.
