My Students

My students are 5th and 6th grade students who are eager to learn and love to be active participants in their learning. My students come from diverse backgrounds but all want to be successful in school.

As a way to be successful in the classroom, it is essential that good behavior is recognized and rewarded throughout the school year.

With having such a diverse background of students, setting excellent behavior examples is something that is essential for our students to do during the school year.

My Project

Every day, behavior in the classroom is something that teachers not only have to deal with but also teach to their students. Behaviors that have been learned at home might not be approriate for school, therefore, they need to be taught.

Not only do these behaviors need to be taught, they also need to be rewarded.

As a school, we do as much as we can to reward our students for positive behaviors. Every nine weeks, we do a school auction where students who have had positive behavior and also good grades get rewarded for this with prizes. These art sets will be used in the auction for student rewards.
