My Project

I love watching my students grow and watching their interests in books expand. My goal is to buy books for the classroom that interest our students to keep them reading. Sometimes just having an option with their interest is all they need to spark that fire and read. Through a different variety of books and learning games they will advance their vocabulary and reading comprehension.

My students love to read different types of books and I am introducing a book club that co-insides with our history to help get more engaged.

By starting this book club we will have classroom discussions and either read together in class or on their own and then discuss what we read and how we can better understand the text.
