My Students

Do you remember when Physical Education was just jump ropes & balls? Well those times are well behind us. Today Physical Education has evolved into a multi-faceted educational experience. Technology has become a huge tool to enhance the educational experience of health and fitness.

Students are very motivated and ready to learn new activities in class.

We are a small but growing NYC public school that strives to meet the ever growing needs of our students. The students are very technologically interested as well as diverse which I believe will help the students immensely in our needs.

My Project

By using the iPad during Physical Education and Health class the students will be able to record their NYC Fitnessgram data. When the students are able to input their data immediately they become more accountable and responsible for their fitness goals. Students will also be able to make archive photo and video projects of the lessons that we are engaged in and the importance of each topic that we cover.

Donations will be a great help to this school because students will be able to use technology as a source to promote a better learning experience.

The iPad will help facilitate students work into groups enabling them to record their health and fitness data.
