Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my role, I work with a wide range of learners. In the inclusive setting, we have every student need you can imagine. More and more, I see students with sensory needs. They want to walk, crawl, climb, sit on the floor, block out noise, or keep their hands busy. These furnishings will help me create a space in our classroom that is welcoming to learners of all types, and that responds to the changing needs of our kids.

With the diversity of our schools, effective classrooms these days aren't just rows of desks anymore.

They are engaging, interesting, inviting, and versatile spaces shared by a huge diversity of people. This project will help me respond to these needs, and be sure when children come to our room for services, that they want to be there and feel their needs are being met! Thank you for taking the time to read this, and for considering supporting our school!
