This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are seeking to introduce a diverse range of sports equipment, specifically tailored to promote Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles. This comprehensive approach aims to create an inclusive environment that caters to various learning styles, abilities, and interests. Additionally, in light of the impact of COVID-19 on students' health and social-emotional well-being, this project emphasizes the importance of physical activity in restoring and enhancing overall wellness.

We want to provide a variety of sports equipment to address the diverse needs of students, ensuring that PE classes are accessible and engaging for everyone.

We recognize the impact of COVID-19 on students' mental health and social-emotional well-being, and want to create an environment that fosters connection, collaboration, and positive emotions through inclusive physical activities. In physical education, we want to introduce throwing, catching, and striking items that not only encourage physical activity but also contribute to the development of fundamental motor skills. We will utilize floor markings, lamination, and cone signs to enhance visual cues, making activities more accessible and promoting inclusivity for students with diverse learning needs. Lastly, acquiring organizational items to streamline the management of equipment, ensures a smooth and efficient class flow.
