This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are always ready for a snack! All day, every day, I will have at least ten different students ask me for food so they can make it through the day to their next meal.

Hunger is one of my students’ number-one concerns when they walk through my door: thank you so much for considering this request for my snacky students!

It would be nearly impossible for me to afford to give them snacks without the support of people like you and DonorsChoose—I just don’t have the funds to buy 50+ granola bars and snacks a week to feed my students.
